The last thing I want to do the day after Thanksgiving is cook, but I still have hungry people around.
So, I make life easier and make everybody happy by making a sandwich with all the leftovers. Simply put everything between whole grain, country, or whatever bread you have, along with cranberry sauce and gravy, add some greens and avocado slices (if any), and spread some whole grain mustard on the bread and voila! Lunch is served with some chips (baked, hopefully), and some fruits.
You can also do a panini or a melt. It’s a good way to feed your family and lingering guests, get rid of the bulk in your refrigerator, and get to shopping or having fun fast. Enjoy!
